Business Development Manager - London £50,000 - £60,000 - Law Firm - Litigation This represents an exciting opportunity for a business development professional to join a prominent law firm in a fast-moving role which features a good balance of both marketing and business development responsibilities, focusing largely on the Litigation group. This position plays an integral part in supporting this practice at what is an exciting time for both the Business Development department and the wider firm, and will entail a large amount of liaison with fellow business development colleagues, business services professionals and fee earners within the firm’s growing network. You will be tasked with establishing strong internal relationships and play a key role in preparing practice group marketing and business development plans and the first port of call with regards to drafting practice and firm-wide pitches, as well as coaching partners and participating in rehearsal meetings. Additionally you will actively seek out new business opportunities and undertake on-going research and analysis to identify new targets, which you will use to cross-sell with other practice areas and sector groups. It will be beneficial to have a strong understanding of marketing campaigns in order to successfully promote the practice in the external market place. With previous business development experience in the legal or wider professional services sector, you will have outstanding communication skills and commercial awareness.
