Overview
IPS Finance are working with an expanding Dewsbury based SME with continued plans for future growth looking to take on a part time management accountant for a new role within the business. The position is expected to take between 20 - 25 hours per week and will grant the successful applicant with a great degree of autonomy. Main duties of the position: Monthly production of management accounts Production of departmental budgets Overseeing the maintenance of ledgers Analysis into expenditure Daily use of Sage 50 The role will involve both reporting and transactional work and as such would suit a hands-on management accountant. You will be supported by a team of junior finance staff and report directly into the FD. Applicants are expected to have prior experience working in a role which involved the production of management accounts, a formal accounting qualification (ACCA / CIMA) is not essential but would be preferred.
