Overview
Grafton Banks Finance are pleased to be assisting a market leading business within the education sector recruit a Management Accountant for their London office. The successful candidate will take ownership of the production and timely delivery of Management Accounts for the business They will also need to be a CIMA/ACCA Finalist or Newly Qualified. The position also acts as Finance Business Partner, therefore strong communication skills at all levels is a must. Key responsibilities: Lead the month end process, delivering high quality management information to a tight deadline. Generate the monthly management accounts including but not limited to – Monthly income recognition adjustments Accruals Prepayments Stock reconciliation and cost of sales calculations Preparation of accurate departmental monthly financial reporting packs for review, ensuring any anomalies are solved promptly Production of the monthly Finance & Operating Report to the Executive Ensure completeness and accuracy of the management accounts. Act as Finance Business Partner for Press division. Provide financial support and guidance to the Press team. Work with the Director and the Press team to produce robust budgets and forecasts.
