Overview
CNC Turner Our client is a manufacturing company based in St Leonards who specialise in the production of high precision machined components. A vacancy has arisen for a CNC Turner to join their busy and friendly team. The ideal CNC Turner will have demonstrable experience; possess an excellent knowledge of Fanuc and Heidenhain controls and be able to set and operate machines to accurate specifications. As a CNC Turner you must be able to work with minimum supervision and be happy to carry out other tasks when asked. The ideal CNC Turner will possess the following skills and qualities: Demonstrable experience within a similar position Engineering qualification or experience within an engineering company Good understanding of engineering and machining principles Knowledge of Fanuc and Heidenhain controls is essential Ability to programme from drawings Be able to follow instructions CNC Programming/Setting experience ideally Your duties as a CNC Turner would be: Setting and operating CNC machines Product correct components to specified drawings Observing Health and Safety regulations in accordance with company procedures and government legislation Keeping your work station clean and tidy Ensuring time standards are maintained and improved to minimise late jobs Making sure required maintenance is carried out Carry out any other tasks when requested Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience Hours: Monday - Thursday; 8am - 5pm Friday; 8am - 1pm Location: St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex Start Date: ASAP Key Words: CNC Turner, CNC Setter, CNC Operator, CNC Programmer, Technical Drawings, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Health and Safety, St Leonards, Hastings, Bexhill, East Sussex
