Overview
CNC Miller Our client is an established manufacturing company based in St Leonards who have more than 40 years' experience. They specialise in precision machined components and assemblies for various sectors. They are currently looking for a CNC Miller to join their hardworking and dedicated team. The ideal CNC Miller will have demonstrable experience within a CNC Miller role, possess excellent engineering knowledge, and have experience of using Fanuc controls. As a CNC Miller you will be producing components to customer specifications, working on Citizen and Star machines as well as inspecting the produced work. The Ideal CNC Miller will possess the following skills and qualities: Demonstrable CNC Programming/Setting experience Possess a good understanding of engineering and machining principles Knowledge of Fanuc controls is essential Ability to programme from drawings Possess a good working knowledge of CAD/CAM programming Competent computer skills including MS office Work using own initiative Your duties as a CNC Miller would be: Producing components to customer specifications Working with Citizen and Star machines Able to program using Fanuc Reading and working from Technical Drawings Inspecting produced work Maintaining deadlines and schedules Working with minimum supervision Following both written and verbal instruction Maintaining a safe and tidy work area, as well as adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures Assisting other staff when needed Salary: £12 - £14 per hour Location: St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5pm Friday, 8am - 1pm Start Date: ASAP Key Words: CNC, Miller, Programmer, Fanuc, Technical Drawings, CAD, CAM, Engineering, Citizen, Star, Computer Numerical Control, Manufacturing, Hastings, St Leonards, Bexhill, Battle, East Sussex
