Overview
Theatre Lead up to £40,000 DOE Harley Street and Surrounding area (100m apart) We are looking for a Theatre Lead to support the Hospital Manager of an exclusive private hospital in the heart of Harley Streets medical district, ensuring a smooth and safe running of the hospital. Working alongside the Hospital Manager you will participate in the effective delivery of the hospitals governance and business development strategies. Your role will include being responsible for the day-to-day management of the surgical areas and to provide leadership to, and co-ordination of, the Hospital Clinical team,and to coordinate the hospital handover focusing on new admissions and admitted patients care needs. Naturally you will need to ensure that a high standard of evidence-based nursing care is consistently delivered to patients and consequently will undertake the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department whilst coordinating the management of the theatre teams. You must be able to act as a resource of specialist clinical knowledge and information for nursing staff and ensure that all nursing practices are meeting the required standards. This includes providing clinical direction, supervision and support to junior colleagues within the operating team. In order to succeed in this role, you must have a minimum of five years experience (preferably within the private medical sector) working within the operating theatre environment of a cosmetic theatre at a senior level, a current NMC pin and evidence of relevant CPD. You must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with the multi-disciplinary team and any external agencies regarding clinical, managerial, and site issues.
