Overview
Fantastic role for a Management Accountant looking to join a cool PE backed gaming creator and publisher. Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, you will take charge of the monthly management accounts. Due to some successful titles over the past 2 years, post-merger into a SME Media Group, turnover is now at c£25m so further investment in people and the leadership team is required. Reporting into the FC you will be responsible for: Production of monthly management accounts- posting month end accruals, prepayments and all other month end journals Submission of quarterly group VAT return Reviewing and distribution of quarterly royalty statements Point of contact for auditors working on year end and interim audits An Accounts Assistant will complete transactional work – AP/AR Working with Heads of Department on budget tracking for development and marketing of titles Supporting the FC on ad hoc projects and tasks As this is a growing business, there is opportunity for progression and increased exposure Skills and Qualifications Minimum 1 years experience in management accounts Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Excellent Communicator Ability to work across business functions and multiple legal entities, and work with finance and non-finance teams Strong systems skills, Excel, SAP, PowerPoint Trace is an innovative recruitment consultancy.
