Overview
Management Accountant Catterick Salary up to £40k DOE Optima Professional Services are recruiting for an experienced, proactive, highly self-motivated Management Accountant to join a leading Global Manufacturing business. You'll be educated to University Degree level along with a professional accounting qualification and possess a minimum of 3 or more years' experience within a Practice role. You'll be responsible for several key areas of the finance function, including the analysis of costs for products in UK and some Global countries, Preparation of management accounts and other financial information, data, and analysis for internal and external submission, and the maintenance of accounting systems and processes. Key role responsibilities: Month end accounting; balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss analysis Intercompany account reconciliations including intercompany payments and recharges in various currencies. Providing information for weekly cashflow Working on a combination of UK and international sites. Monthly management accounts preparation UK VAT return submission Processing expenses in various different currencies Invoice discounting month end reconciliations Cover for month end payroll - Sage Maintaining ledgers and reconciliations Variance analysis The ideal candidate will have: Highest ethics and integrity. Ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks and projects and deliver to deadlines. Takes initiative, acts with confidence and works under own direction.
