Fantastic Assistant Accountant Role Based in Cheadle Paying up to £30000 Your new company A brilliant manufacturing company based in the Cheadle area are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their fast paced and dynamic team. Reporting directly into the Financial Controller you will play a pivotal role in the day to day running of the accounts function. Your new role The duties of the Assistant Accountant role will include but not be limited to: Assisting the UK Financial Controller in ensuring that the UK & Ireland monthly reporting, tax and environmental filings and payroll information are accurate and delivered within set deadlines. Supporting the commercial team by providing robust and relevant financial information. What you'll need to succeed You will need to have a minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role, you will need to be able to work off your own initiative but also work well as part of a team, be a clear and confident communicator at all levels, you must be able to work to tight deadlines, plan and organise work so as to meet deadlines and possess high level Microsoft Excel skills. What you'll get in return A competitive salary of up to £30000 plus a discretionary bonus, free on site parking for all staff, life assurance, company pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and working hours of 8 - 4.30 Monday to Friday.
