Overview
Data Analyst job in Central Manchester, paying up to £30,000 Your new company You will be working with a Global leader within the financial services world, operating in over 30 countries. With dual headquarters in Manchester and New York, they have recently opened an office in Manchester, which is set to increase its headcount by 50% this year. Your new role As a Data Analyst, you will be working closely with the COO, other data analysts and researchers to provide high-quality, in-depth strategic analysis to drive decisions and develop business cases for new initiatives, whilst producing recommendations toward process improvements. You will be working in a fast paced environment and work towards short, medium and long term deliverables. Some responsibilities include: Support and maintain the collection of data from core databases using SQL Compiling monthly senior management reports using Excel, SQL Visualising data using BI applications such as Qlik, PowerBI etc Compile and assist with analysis of data from multiple internal and external data sources Ability to manipulate data What you'll need to succeed Previous experience of working within a data position Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL / VBA Exposure to a visualisation tool such as Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau Advanced Excel and MS Office products What you'll get in return You will be offered a salary up to £30,000 with other benefits which can be discussed upon application.
