Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading global pharmaceutical client based in Surrey. Due to their continued expansion, our listed client has created a new role within the team to support the Head of Group Finance with a variety of duties. Responsibilities will include: Group Reporting - Oversee global subsidiary submissions - Review consolidations and prepare variance analysis and commentary Statutory reporting - Assist in the preparation of IFRS compliant financial statements - Work with group entities to prepare statement disclosures - Preparation of group audit papers and support with audit queries Treasury & Tax - Preparing short and medium term cashflow forecasting (incl. repatriation of cash) - Support with cash optimisation activities through cash deposits, FX hedging activities - Monitoring group tax compliance, looking into new tax strategies, TP & compliance We are looking for a qualified chartered accountant (ACA/ ACCA or overseas equivalent) with experience of auditing consolidating accounts under IFRS. Financial reporting experience within industry would be a distinct advantage, and would certainly benefit in hitting the ground running. Due to the variety of tasks within this role, it is imperative that any candidate is extremely well organised and can quickly build relationships work across UK and international business units. In addition you must be able to take a strategic perspective, be able to spot opportunities to add value and be support the business in order to deliver these objectives. Package: Base salary £55,000 - £60,000 bonus health flexible working This role will provide outstanding development opportunities for anyone with aspirations for a future finance leadership role.
