Overview
My client a prestigious organisation located in Aberdeenshire are looking to bolster their finance function are seeking to secure a Treasury Accountant. As a Treasury Accountant, you will monitor cash flow, and play a key role overseeing banking requirements, ongoing financial analysis and evaluation of economic performance and will be involved in all treasury activities. This role will support the treasury function in ensuring the operational and accounting tasks relating to treasury are accurately performed and reported on. Responsibilities Assist with the consolidation of the regional cash flow. Monitor and ensure compliance of current regional liquidity regulatory requirements. Daily Bank reconciliation to cash flow. Daily internal liquidity reporting and weekly KPI reporting. Manage and report on daily FX exposures, interest rate exposures and currency funding requirements. - Monthly and Daily Bank reconciliation of ledgers, including postings for all treasury operations for multiple entities in multiple currencies Manage and report on daily investment of surplus funds and / or funding requirements. Produce monthly treasury/liquidity-risk management reporting. Produce monthly funding cost allocations and cashflow forecasts. Deal with ad hoc queries, reporting and project work. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a rapidly growing business that will offer succession planning. To be successful in this position you will have had previous experience within a treasury function and have a clear understanding of best practice within treasury operations. You will ideally be a qualified accountant or studying towards an accountancy qualification, have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working within a fast-paced growing organisation.
