Overview
Senior DevOps Engineers with experience of mentoring and training small teams of Junior DevOps Engineers are required by this major financial service provider to help them build out their DevOps capability as part of a major investment in their technology stacks. In order to secure one of these Senior DevOps Engineer roles candidates will need to be able to demonstrate experience of the following: Experience working in high-performing teams, delivering innovative technical solutions, applications and services. Evidence of training. mentoring and quality checking the work of Junior DevOps Engineers. Has experience of working and helping to lead Agile teams, using the Scrum framework. Public cloud experience, preferably AWS, but Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud experience is also relevant Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift. Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform Good scripting skills in one or more of Shell, Bsh, Go, Python, Ruby, Java or Powershell Using your experience of DevOps, CI/CD pipelining and Infrastructure as a Code (IAAC), you'll take on a leading frontline role in building the new Devops capability for this client. As such you will be required to lead by example and take end-to-end ownership for developing and implementing solutions.
