Overview

Cardiff Council are looking for a newly qualified social worker to join their team. This is a rare opportunity to be able to work alongside and support senior social workers in various different roles across the teams. This is the ideal first job for a newly qualified social worker which will provide you with the skills and experience required to progress within the Social work field. The role is working within a locality team doing a mixture of Child in Need, Child Protection and Court Work. The successful candidate can expect excellent peer and management support, regular supervision, flexible and condensed working hours as well as the use of many Hubs in Cardiff for agile working. Training opportunities at Cardiff are excellent and accessible to agency workers the same as permanent staff, together with excellent pay rates.
