Senior Strategic Projects Manager £80,713 - £93,464 Per Annum Inc (Band 8d) Fixed-Term/Contract – 23 Months Ref: 334-EST-2359964-GB About the team: South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) is embarking on an Estates Modernisation Programme and is seeking to appoint a dynamic Senior Strategic Projects Manager. You will work in a team dedicated to developing, constructing and delivering key strategic projects. The strategic projects team forms part of the wider Capital, Estates and Facilities team. About the role: We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Strategic Projects Manager within the Capital, Estates and Facilities team. The successful candidate will be required to be responsible for delivering a broad range of NHS development projects within time and budget constraints. You will lead both internal & external stakeholders through procurement processes contract placement and the construction and delivery process, work with internal & external stakeholders to ensure that projects are carried out in a co-ordinated, integrated way using clear project management methodology and strong communication and analytical skills to ensure projects reach a successful completion within time and budget constraints. You will also be required to provide an effective and efficient service in compliance with National & Trust policies, procedures, statutory directives, legislation, policies and code of practices. The Senior Strategic Projects Manager will be accountable for securing the design brief, managing the procurement process, monitoring construction, defining, agreeing and monitoring contracts, maintaining programme, authorising payments, managing the budget, supervising commissioning, Internal reporting on as a minimum, cost and time, securing planning permissions, achieving completion to time and budget About the location: Our Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2). We also provide services and operate across other locations, such as London boroughs of Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark; and substance misuse services for residents of Bexley, Lambeth, Greenwich and Wandsworth.
