Overview
A leading UK law firm is looking for a Regulatory Paralegal to be based in their Reading office. The work is of high quality and will be busy and varied and challenging. The successful applicant will be undertaking a case investigator role, predominantly on behalf of national healthcare regulators. This will involve conducting witness interviews, drafting witness statements and obtaining/preparing all hearing documentation in accordance with a case plan. They will also attend expert conferences and some substantive fitness to practise hearings, communicating extensively with witnesses, professional registrants, legal representatives and professional clients including the regulators' hearings managers. Applicants must be highly-confident in their own ability, and those with a background in immigration or family may be particularly interested in this position. Excellent academics are essential, (min: 2:1 LLB from a Top University and preferably the LPC). Salary will depend on relevant experience, but those candidates who are extremely bright and enthusiastic are also encouraged to apply.
