Closing date: 24th March 2020 About the role: An exciting opportunity exists to support West Midlands Police to lead organisational transformation to meet the challenges imposed by climate change.You will champion and drive environmental practice and performance, promote corporate responsibility in the field of environmental and sustainability matters.You will deliver the aspirations of the Force Environmental Policy and challenge current practices and drive improvements. You will identify and promote ethical environmental and sustainability policies and practices. You will review and drive out waste from policing processes and activities. You will audit and analyse and report upon environmental performance and associated data. You will be responsible for leading the force environmental Group and provide meaningful performance data.You will be innovative and seek innovation internally and externally with supply chains and will be an influencer within the wider organisation to embed responsible environmental practice.
