Overview

Role: Finance Manager Location: Telford Salary: 35k Benefits Perm Role Summary The Financial Manager role will be very broad, combining commercial financial planning & analysis with 'hands on' accounting. Taking day to day responsibility for the ledgers and daily activitiy in the Finance Dept as a number 2 to the Finance Director. The following provides some detail of the duties and responsibilities required of the Finance Manager, but is not a comprehensive list: Monitor the day to day financial operations within the company i.e Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Cashbook, Nominal Ledger to initial TB and Payroll transactions etc Manage and mentor finance department employees Review debtors on a regular basis Manage the Consumer Payments team Manage and assist in cashflow forecast Oversee HMRC compliance tasks i.e VAT, PAYE, NI, Pensions etc Manage and liaise with Auditors Assist in preparation of Statutory accounts Assist in half year and yearly reserves Assist in month end process Assist in budget and forecasting Assist in monitoring of key business KPIs Drive process and system improvements Greenwell Gleeson Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.To find out more about how and why Greenwell Gleeson Ltd process your personal data in line with the data protection regime please go to the privacy notice on our website www.greenwellgleeson.co.uk
