Overview
A&F Chambers are delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Director to join our client; a well-established, growing organisation in Southend-On-Sea. Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing the finance function of the business with the aim of delivering all financial duties in a timely and accurate manner. Managing a team of 4 people, you will be required to oversee and carry out the following duties. The following list is not exhaustive and is intended only to indicate the range of activities that the post holder will be required to undertake. Further duties and responsibilities may be added as identified from time to time and it is expected that the post-holder will accept all reasonable requirements and developments of the job. Duties: Financial Accounting & Job Costing Payroll & Directors Accounting PL & SL Ledgers HR Support Funds and Cash Management Management Accounting and Information Legal & Contract Works Tax & Ad-hoc tax related works Misc – Insurance renewals, Intercompany balances, Property works, ISO9001 PROCESS – All Tasks are detailed in the attached Process Documents – Read, Understand & Carry out all tasks accordingly The Ideal Candidate: Strong communication skills, both written & verbal Must be problem solver and able to come up with multiple solutions Able to work as part of a team or to own initiative IT Literate, with experience using SAGE Ideally you will have experience working in the manufacturing industry in a similar capacity (SME) Details: Salary negotiable, dependent on experience Full time, permanent role Free parking Modern offices For further information on this exciting opportunity, please apply direct or contact James Dwyer at A&F Chambers.
