Overview

Drummond Bridge are delighted to be working with a public sector organisation in their search for an Interim Facilities Technical Compliance Manager to be based on their site. The Facilities Technical Compliance Manager will work directly with key operational staff / volunteers throughout the society as well as the wider Property and Health and Safety teams, to ensure the quality and operational delivery of statutory building compliance services. The post holder will support the management or transition of existing statutory building compliance service contracts, as required, whilst proactively ensuring statutory compliance, assurance and risk mitigation of all business as usual services. Main responsibilities Maintaining and improving statutory building compliance management delivery across the property estate, supporting the resolution of compliance issues as appropriate. Supporting the management of existing statutory building compliance service contracts across a wide portfolio of the client’s retail, office accommodation and service delivery premises (incl. garages and warehouses). Monitoring and reporting on the statutory building compliance service delivery performance across key facilities contracts, including operational delivery of planned and remedial works. Co-ordinating data/trend analysis to support future strategic decisions through the availability of statutory building compliance management insights, including finance. Developing and implementing effective control measures to ensure compliance with all buildings and facilities management related legislation and statutory requirements. Preparing, monitoring and controlling forward maintenance and service plans that manage technical risk in line with corporate policy, ensuring that all risks associated with the organisations requirements are appropriately identified and reported. Approving ‘value’ spend decisions on our financial systems through robust budgetary and financial controls – may include non-compliance works. Co-ordinating robust audit measures for statutory building compliance risk management, assurance and mitigation relevant to the facilities service, monitoring performance and working with relevant key stakeholders (incl. Property and Health and Safety).
