Job Description As a Technical Writer (Molecular Biology) you'll be responsible for preparing technical GLP/GMP compliant reports for client studies in accordance with study timelines. You'll prepare, review and update laboratory development, validation and testing procedures in accordance with the relevant protocols, study plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs). You'll assist the managers in the analysis and interpretation of assay trending and preparation of Trending Evaluation reports (TERs). You'll also assist managers in monitoring the status of deviations, Investigations, CC and CAPAs, and in the review and co-ordination of staff training. Key Accountabilities; * Provide regular updates to Department Managers regarding the status of ongoing projects and studies, in terms of report timelines, preparation, QA audit status and finalisation. * Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with GLP/GMP, and ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant health and safety procedures and that all risk assessments relevant to the work being performed (COSHH, GMO etc) are read and understood prior to undertaking work. Perform all relevant Quality Control checks in accordance with the requirements of GMP. * Assist managers and/or SD/Sc/Rs in any investigation and/or corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs) processes as required and provide technical laboratory support in conducting investigations and troubleshooting. * To write biological and GMO risk assessments in a timely manner and take responsibility for directing the correct storage locations of the Test Items. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll have a Scientific background and will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (e.g. BSc Hons in a biological science). Alternative equivalent level of expertise may be appropriate. You'll have laboratory skills relevant to Molecular Biology, you'll have technical experience in a relevant field, which will include technical writing, data analysis and interpretation.
