Role Graduate Sales Engineer/Internal Sales Engineer Salary c£20-25K £5k OTE Benefits Location Rochester Ref 5865 My client is a small business predominantly supplying engineering components (pneumatic equipment and industrial valves) along with providing technical advice to a wide range of engineering and manufacturing companies. The business is well run and successful. This is a new role for an ambitious graduate engineer seeking their first opportunity in business and in sales. My client's business is buoyant and there are numerous prospects to target, many of them part of the existing portfolio of clients, end users and OEM’s. You will be enthusiastic, dynamic, energetic and well organised, keen to impress and get involved in all aspects of the business. You will be bright and quick to learn, enjoying learning about the business and benefiting from on-the-job-training. Some of the sales work will include finding and developing new customers as well as generating additional sales from existing customers. As a young sales professional you will be taught how to carry out the role effectively and successfully. My client has just launched a new online sales capability which is allows customers to order online. Longer term this role is part of the succession planning of the business, my client sees this person being a key developer of new and existing accounts, as a result, proven success will be well rewarded both in terms of financial reward but also with increasing levels of responsibility for playing a key role in the business in the future. For the right person, excellent future opportunities for promotion will be forthcoming.
