Roles available soon We are looking for graduates who are seeking a role in understanding the development of complex needs teenagers. We offer a trauma recovery programme that focusses on understanding childhood trauma and how this impacts development and behavioural presentation. Who is this role suited to? The role is ideal for someone who: Has some work experience in either residential, prison or mental health settings Wants to progress in the psychology sector Enjoys working with vulnerable/complex needs groups Has a resilient personality and a willingness to learn Wants to overcome industry barriers to make a difference Has excellent English speaking and written communication skills What does the job involve? Oversight of a caseload of 2-4 young people, who live together in the community in a transitional home Writing their assessments and tailored support plans Working with external agencies to get the best outcomes Helping the young people to maintain their environment Delivering 1:1 and group sessions Working with the therapeutic lead & in house therapist to gain deeper understanding Following policies to ensure safeguarding remains the focus of all our work What training is there? We run an in-house ongoing 2 year training programme in complex case management, graded in levels which correspond to salary increments. This includes Safeguarding in Practice, Measures of Care and understanding Looked After Children and Care Leaver processes. What is the money and benefits like? Depending on experience, starting salary is £22k-£25k per annum. Salary is reviewed quarterly in line with the training programme with the end goal of £30k after 2 years. The role is 9am-6pm, Monday - Friday. IT equipment is provided. We value and recognise each employee is different. KPMS have homes in South East, East and North London, Kent and the West Midlands. All our homes are easily reachable by public transport. Why doesn’t KPMS have a website?
