Overview
Our client is a very successful and well established business who are a market leader and at the forefront of their industry. They work with clients on a National and International level Due to continued growth they are recruiting for an accomplished Design Engineer to be based at their Head Office. Due to continued expansion of the business they are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Design Engineer to join the Design Team. You will be part of friendly, successful and supportive team. This role is a key one within the business and you will be responsible for new projects and the development of current productions. You will liaise with all internal departments and with suppliers and clients. Some of the key attributes required are: · UK Based degree in Engineering, Physics, or Maths or HND in Engineering · Industrial experience within a Design Engineer role · Proficient at working with spread sheets · Experience of machinery, welding, carpentry or mechanical assembly The Key Duties: · Using PTC CREO 3D CAD package to design new products · Attend design meetings and contribute design ideas · Conducting testing and quality checks · Conduct calculations to verify designs · Create new bills of materials and manipulate existing bills · Liaison with suppliers regarding manufacturing of parts, delivery and cost · Ensure documentation correct for products including test certificates, user manuals and assembly instructions · Create technical drawings So if you are a confident and enthusiastic Design Engineer looking for a new opportunity, we want to hear from you.
