Data Designer Radbroke Hall Knutsford Barclays are hiring a Data Designer working within COO & Functions. You will be The Designer will be responsible for the translation of the end to end Data & Enterprise Architecture vision of the Customer Data Strategy into technical specifications to be delivered by the platform teams and for providing support to the build and test teams during the full delivery lifecycle. If this sounds of interest, please read on! What will you be doing? Ownership of technical designs for projects, working with all technical component teams that need to contribute. Ensuring project designs are compliant to architectures and standards by producing required governance artefacts as dictated by the governance route and supporting other Solution Architects or presenting designs at the appropriate Design Authority. Support broad, complex conceptual technical solutions, drawing upon expertise within the team and working closely with the Enterprise, Data and Solutions Architects. Provide technical consultancy for new initiatives, to assist in the definition of business requirements or technical strategies. Design, document and communicate technical solutions. Provide technical consultancy for new initiatives, to refine technical strategies. What we're looking for: Proven experience in designing and/or building highly scalable and highly resilient global scale financial systems. Proven experience in designing data integration systems Understanding of data architecture and best practise to maintain high data quality during application design. Able to demonstrate previous evidence of drive, energy, commitment, and enthusiasm. Skills that will help you in the role: Experience or knowledge of IBM Master Data Management software Experience in systems integration projects Experience of designing APIs Experience of Cloud development Where will you be working?
