Shift Engineer / Facilities Engineer Permanent Position 7am-7pm, 4 nights, 4 off, 3 days, 3 nights, 4 off, 4 days, 6 off, Repeat Our client provides on-site support and building services maintenance to businesses all over the country. They are a growing business and are looking for experienced shift maintenance engineers to join the team. Shift Engineer / Facilities Engineer Job Description · Ensure all environmental conditions are maintained at all times with regard to critical building systems · Make sure routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and asset lists · Make sure reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made · Make sure suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works · Make sure all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the Contract Administrator · Make sure Computer Based Maintenance systems are kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured Shift Engineer / Facilities Engineer Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications Ideally an Electrical background Knowledge of UPS, Generators, HV, PDU’s, Crac units or equivalent Mechanical knowledge and ideally good understanding of HVAC/Pumps/Valves/Electro-Mechanical systems etc · Experience of maintaining all relevant mechanical and electrical equipment to clearly defined criteria · Electrical/mechanical qualifications · Physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20kg · Able to ascend and descend vertical access equipment · Able to work at heights Shift Engineer / Facilities Engineer Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications · BMS Knowledge · Experience of working in a critical environment This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89543148
