Overview
Throughout your Audit training contract, you’ve been dreaming of moving to a commercial role somewhere your output makes a tangible difference to the efficiency and day-to-day running of a business. You’re now a chartered accountant itching to fulfil your dream and crack on with your career. If your client base is predominantly Financial Services, I have a role that can give you all of that and more. You will be running the forecasting, scenario modelling/stress testing and analysis of KPI’s alongside taking ownership of the monthly management accounts, the preparation of annual group accounts as well as implementing new systems and managing multiple stakeholders. You won’t be limited to just internal finance, 20% of your time will be working with the portfolio businesses, building relationships with key stakeholders and advising them on commercial activities as well as lending a hand on things if they need any help. If you’re ambitious, want to get to FD and are seeking a hands-off approach, this role is right for you. You will gain experience across the whole finance spectrum, internally as well as externally, gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
