Fuller Corporate Ltd has two subsidiaries Horticruitment Ltd and English Country Gardeners Ltd. We specialise in the niche market of horticultural recruitment and both businesses have been trading for over 30 years. We are expanding rapidly and need to bring our tech team in-house so that we can work on websites, internal systems and API's more efficiently - therefore a position has arisen for a PHP Developer to join our friendly team. To take responsibility for the sites; to modernise, increase functionality and to ensure a first-class user experience for both our candidates and clients. The Role The Web Developer must have experience of building and implementing web-based applications and sites using modern development techniques and technologies. The Web Developer will be working with the senior management team reporting to the Office Manager. Along with designing web-based applications you will be responsible for improving the in-house systems that are used by the wider business. The Web Developer will be working to tight deadlines and you must be able to manage your time effectively to ensure projects are finished on time. The successful Web Developer will also be encouraged to learn new skills to assist with any upcoming projects. You Will Need Back-end development using PHP/MySQL Development of APIs and third-party system integrations Some knowledge of server setups Experience in building eCommerce Websites Autonomy to research and learn on your own as well as within a team Front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, and JS Your Responsibilities Managing tasks internally Testing and quality control of your work Suggest improvements to the development process Requirements Experience developing PHP/MySQL Driven Websites Good people skills - we are a small but friendly team Ability to manage projects and tasks Punctual and good time management Excellent organisation and planning skills High attention to detail and thorough checking Excellent communication skills Willingness to learn from others and teach other team members Salary Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your experience Please reply with your CV and salary expectations Job Type: Contract - 3 days per wk Experience: PHP: 3 year (Preferred) If you want to progress in a fast-growing business then please contact us, we would love to hear from you Thank you for the interest you have shown in this Web Developer vacancy.
