Senior Full Stack Developer London up to £80k basic plus equity If you have a love of music, wait all year to get to that festival or gig, constantly seek out new music on spotify AND you have full stack developer skills read on. We are recruiting for a London based start-up business helping musicians and entertainers to build their careers. Their custom-built platform makes booking entertainment for any occasion faster and more efficient. Having just released their MVP, they have pushed their full launch back a quarter due to Covid-19 allowing them more time to focus on the development stage. Currently using a team of offshore and freelance developers, they are now very much ready and financially secure (following funding) to hire their Senior Full Stack Developer /CTO. You will co-lead the product development function, playing an integral role in scaling the business which is backed by several leading private investors. Principal duties and responsibilities: Work closely with the CEO and Product Development team based in London. Develop, test and maintain core aspects of the platform as well as developing and implementing existing new features. Identify and analyse platform enhancement opportunities, and then select and implement the best solutions. Active involvement in other aspects of product development, such as analysis, design, troubleshooting and optimisation. Provide support in critical/urgent situations. Knowledge, skills and experience: 5 years of hands-on experience successfully developing consumer-facing applications. Marketplace experience preferred but not essential You have a passion for music, live events and want to improve the market for musicians You have a resilient personality, seek autonomy and have a desire to build a business You are a focussed and creative problem-solver with an inquisitive and technical mindset You are a pro-active self-starter and enjoy working as part of a small team, rapidly iterating on approach and getting your hands dirty to deliver on the result Ability to communicate in English fluently, both written and spoken. Strong knowledge of React and Node.js applications Experience with MongoDB as well as database design and optimisation. Ability to integrate and test third-party APIs based on documentation. Developed applications with major cloud services such as AWS. Strong understanding of version control and development operations. Outstanding attention to detail. What do you get in return?
