Overview
Key Recruitment are working with a leading company within their field, who are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their busy & hard working team, working in their office based in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and forward thinking organisation, who will offer a competitive salary and an excellent chance of long term progression as the company continues to grow. Duties to be performed will include: Producing customer invoices Carrying out credit control activities Managing the purchase ledger & sales ledger Managing company vehicles Using a range of software, including emails, spreadsheets, Microsoft and in-house software, to ensure the efficient running of the office and excellent customer response to e mail enquiries Recording of employees’ attendance / holidays General office duties / stationery /office safety inductions Previous accounts experience, with an understanding of the process up until at least trial balance stage, is essential to be considered for this role.
