Overview
Location: North London An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading wholesaler and exporter based in North London as their company accountant. Roles and responsibilities. Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts Dealing with month end closures of SL, PL and NL Ensure bank, cash and credit card are reconciled daily Overseeing credit control and accounts payables Preparation of annal budgets Preparing the annual audit file for the group and liaise with auditors Dealing with monthly and quarterly VAT returns and ECC sales Monitoring monthly payroll processing for two companies Dealing with duty drawbacks Monitoring all export documentation processes for statutory purposes Other ad-hoc accounting duties Attributes: The successful candidate will have the following attributes: Must be a computer literate with good excel skills and solid understanding of accounting software principles Preferably qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience with previous 4 years accountancy experience Previous retail/wholesale sector experience is an advantageous
