Overview
IT Project Manager (Business Systems & IT Applications) - Macclesfield - £50,000 to £55,000 Bonus A globally operating retailer based in Macclesfield are recruiting an IT Project Manager due to significant technology investment linked to a transformation programme, which will include several key IT and change projects. You will be the departments 'Lead’ Project Manager, reporting to the Head of Project Delivery, and be responsible for managing several high-profile business systems projects. The technology projects in the immediate pipeline include payroll, P2P, retail system overhaul, new App and procurement. These will have board level visibility; therefore, it is essential that the incoming individual has the experience and gravitas to report progress at board level. Additionally, most projects will involve significant 3rd party supplier engagement, therefore experience delivering through technical 3rd parties is key. Ideal Experience Successful track record of managing high-profile business systems / IT Applications projects, reporting to director/board-level. Strong 3rd party supplier management on IT projects. Experience delivering in an autonomous environment, there isn’t a prescribed blueprint for delivery here, it is essential individuals have experience tailoring their style and methodology to the environment/requirement. Positive cultural influence, looking to drive improvements in how the business deliver projects. Strong Business Change experience, from business engagement through to adoption. Business Analysis experience is beneficial, as some smaller projects may require picking the project up from requirements phase.
