Overview
Permanent Credit Manager, Based in Oldham working for a Multi Billion pound a year turnover business Your new company You will be working for a blue chip multi billion pound a year turnover business who have foretasted huge growth over the next twelve months. Your new role This job requires someone to bring their own ideas to the table and improve both systems and processes. You will report directly into the Head of Shared Service and will have full responsibility over the team of seven Credit Controllers and one Credit Supervisor. Your core duties include but won't be limited to; review current credit processes & implement improvements, work closely with the Head of Shared Service to minimise aged debt, be the key POC for the technology team in relation to new improvements, develop & coach the existing credit team, supervise the completion of month end, monitor customer credit limits, improve the reporting system to the senior management team, work closely with the US based team and have a strong understanding companies invoicing process. This is a job that is ideal if you are someone who has their own ideas on processes to the table and wants the opportunity to showcase them. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for the job you must be prepared to implement your own ideas and shape the Credit function into how you see fit. Good people management skills and a strong Credit background is also an essential. Previous dealings with international customers and improving processes within a SSC also is a key requirement.
