The Opportunity: The Senior Application Support Analyst will be responsible for leading and implementing support and configuration changes to Jira and Confluence. The individual performs all activities required to provide a service to the customers in line with the agreed level of service. Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to: · Collate and prioritise requests, in accordance with agreed criteria and the needs of the global organisation, to develop a demand pipeline. · Share knowledge on the latest upgrade dates, associated functionality and suggest recommendations for change. · Maintain and own the Jira and Confluence strategy and roadmap · Produce documentation to support all configuration changes as well as other documentation gaps as required · Design and deliver the user management processes (Joiners, Movers, Leavers) · Investigate reported issues and other requests for support and determine appropriate actions to take, taking the wider user group and impact of any changes into account · Perform administration tasks for Jira and Confluence such as, user account creations, password resets, changes to user/group permissions · Apply approved project configuration changes to Jira and Confluence within agreed timelines and ensure they meet quality criteria · Liaise with the global teams to ensure the application is continually considered as a global application and all changes are signed off by each of the regions through the governance meetings You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience: · Previous experience and knowledge of Jira and Confluence Administration is essential. · Comfortable with working within a global capacity · Comfortable with providing Jira and Confluence training to individuals and groups Applicants may have experience of: · Experience managing third party activities advantageous · Experience of system migrations advantageous At QBE, we view our people as our most precious asset.
