Overview

Financial Controller, Central Belt, Salary - negotiable HRC Recruitment are currently working in partnership with an established FMCG business who are experiencing a period of growth and are looking to appoint a Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of the manufacturing site. This newly created role requires an experienced finance professional who has a demonstrable background in manufacturing or FMCG and has reported directly to the board. The main responsibilities of the role will include: Production of full budget and forecasting pack with the provision of meaningful commentary Ownership of the cost model and production absorption rate Monthly and cumulative management accounts Monthly and cumulative profit and loss accounting Revenue and margin analysis across service lines Balance sheet and cashflow management Salaries cost and headcount analysis Fixed asset management Recommend improvements to stock holding levels Review and financially approve capital expenditure across the business Effective business engagement across all functions: Operations, Human Resources, Customer Service, Engineering, Health and Safety Building and managing relationships with external partners and professional bodies Identify process improvements KPI analysis across the business Overseeing systems and robust reporting Management of finance and non-finance staff Experience required: Qualified accountant Minimum 5 years recent FMCG or manufacturing experience Excellent stakeholder management experience, internal and external, at all levels First class communication and presentation skills A natural leader, you will be reporting directly to the Board and be part of the leadership team of a successful business. You must still be willing to roll up your sleeves and help when required. This is a company that has grown significantly over the last few years and is currently going through a period of significant, but exciting change, which will offer a successful career to the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be someone who is keen to further progress in their career. Salary is around the 65k mark however is dependant on experience. On offer is also a general benefits package.
