Overview
Interim Climate Impact Manager Position: Climate Impact Manager Hours: 35 hours per week Location: London Contract Length: 4 months Rate: Dependent on experience Our client, a London local authority, is seeking an experienced Climate Impact Manager to help take their climate change strategy forwards in order to become carbon neutral by 2030. Responsibilities: To draft the council’s overarching, long term plan for climate change in order to ensure they fulfil their 2030 target To work with both internal and external stake holders such as schools and public bodies to identify and promote their strategy Produce carbon and environmental management plans in order to meet environmental objectives Present findings and proposals to senior members of the council on performance of the environmental management plan Advise on the communications surrounding the action plan to ensure community members are aware and on-board Essential Requirements: Background working within a local authority or similar Proven track record in producing successful environmental plans Have a proactive and logical approach If you have experience to match the requirements, or if you would like more information on the role, please contact Jason Woodhouse or Jim Green on or send your CV to Venn Group’s “Recommendation Scheme”: if you recommend a candidate who is subsequently placed by Venn Group (for a minimum of 2 weeks) you will be eligible for £25 worth of vouchers from a choice of high street organisations.
