Overview
A specialist in the repair, maintenance and installation of all types of industrial and pedestrian doors based in the North-West is looking for an electrically-skilled Industrial Door Engineer to join their existing and growing team. As a company, they cover both the North-West of England and Yorkshire and require an experienced Door Engineer with good expertise with electrical fault finding to work on gates, high-speed doors, roller shutters, grilles, sectional overhead doors, security doors and steel doors. They are offering a competitive package including; A basic hourly rate up to £14.50 per hour. A company vehicle, which can be used for personal use. Competitive overtime and standby fees, along with a 37 hour contract. Call-out rota of 1 week in 4. Training and progression opportunities. 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays. Paid door to door travel time. This role involves service and repair predominantly, but you may be asked on occasion to assist the installation team. The ideal candidate for this role will possess; Ideally an NVQ 2 in Industrial Doors (preferred but not essential). Electrical experience and ideally qualifications. Experience in working on a range of industrial doors, gates and barriers. Excellent electrical fault finding skills.
