Job Role - Test Manager Location - Newcastle Duration - 6 Months A requirement has arisen for a QA & Test Manager. The role will conduct testing and lead the wider testing function, liaising with Product Owners, scrum masters, BAs, architects, and software developers. Required skills: A good understanding of development tools and processes. Able to test interfaces between systems, with a complete understanding of the SDLC · Able to identify test process optimisation opportunities and contribute to process optimisation. · Experience of modifying and maintaining test suites · Worked in environments using different delivery methods; Agile, Iterative, Waterfall. · Experience with automation in a language such as Java, JavaScript, etc. · Knowledge of version control systems, ideally git · A basic knowledge of macOS X and Unix commands. Nice to have skills: Experience with Continuous Integration using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Travis CI; · Experience of working with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack; · Experienced with Behaviour Driven Development methodologies and tools such as Cucumber; · Tested software within a Micro-Service architecture; · Aware of performance test methodologies and tools such as, Apache JMeter, Gatling, k6; · Experience with API and contract testing, familiarity with Open API Specification; · An understanding of Web services (SOAP/REST) and demonstrated automation experience with SOAP/REST Webservices/API testing; · Experience with frameworks such as REST Assured and tools such as SOAPUI and Postman; · Experience using Docker; Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure) Please Submit C.v's in first instance.
