Overview

Infrastructure Support Analyst, Windows knowledge required. Graduate, Shift pattern. Market leading technology company based in Slough, Berkshire is looking for a Windows Support Analyst to join their team. Working in a 24/7 support environment the team work 12 hour shifts (day and night) over a 9 week rota. Salary is in the range of £ 21000 - 23000 25% shift allowance. The role would suit a graduate with some commercial IT experience who is now looking to develop their career. The purpose of the role is to carry out incident, problem and change management processes and standard tasks for all Infrastructure Service customers. This includes monitoring customer infrastructure using a variety of monitoring tools, back up management and troubleshooting incidents. Training is available for the right candidate. To be considered for this role you must have - Excellent communication skills. Previous experience working in a help desk/service desk environment. An understanding of one of the following environments - Wintel, Unix and/or VMWare. Have a degree in a relevant subject. Strong problem solving skills. Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift support environment This role would suit a graduate with some commercial experience who is keen to learn and develop.
