Overview
A reputable InsurTech organisation are looking for a SDET-III with the passion and drive to create a community of practice or guild across products, based in London You will be responsible for creating and leading a COP or guild, providing quality engineering excellence within the domain of test and test automation, site reliability engineering (SRE), and monitoring and alerting of environments and operational excellence. This role will have touchpoints into related initiatives, such as DevSecOps and\or platform engineering. Experience Required You are a highly capable Quality Engineering\Quality Assurance practitioner with experience of mentoring or leading others. You are passionate about quality in product engineering. Subject matter expertise in test and test automation, and associated frameworks and tooling. Experience of creating and communicating product test strategies covering functional and non-functional testing. To report on, evidence base, and formulate KPIs for the maturity, performance, and effectiveness of product test strategies. To introduce and refine a continuous improvement mindset. An understanding of software delivery from feature refinement, through development to production environments. To incubate and trial new concepts in quality engineering. The skills to work with engineering partners\suppliers in the arena of quality engineering. The skills to work with cloud and platform providers in the arena of quality assurance and engineering. Ideally you will have… API automation using the REST-Assured framework on Java Front-end automation using Cypress on JavaScript. Front-end automation using Selenium on Java. Jenkins as platform for automated tests execution, reporting, alerts, etc MongoDB (document-oriented database) Amazon S3 (cloud storage) GraphQL (data query for APIs)
