Overview
Adult Speech and Language Therapist for the Acute Stroke Service. To provide a communication and swallowing service as part of the SLT and MDT team, covering the acute stroke inpatient units at UHS. Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week, over 5 days currently. This might require 7 day working in the future. The therapist needs to work according to the requirements of the designated clinical area as well as the Speech and Language Therapy Service . Between the team we provide a service from 8am-6pm Accountable to: Dietetic and Speech Therapy Manager via Adult Speech and Language Therapy team Lead. Job Purpose: The post holder is responsible for the clinical care of patients within the defined clinical area working under direction of their Clinical Team Lead and SLT manager.
