Overview
Are you available at short notice for interview and start? Do you possess your full accounting qualification? Have you previous experience operating in a financial leadership role? If so, read on Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a dynamic, commercial and forward thinking business with a national presence to recruit a Finance Manager to cover an initial temporary contract for 9 months. Working as a key part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) the successful candidate will be joining the business to cover for a unique business project which will remove the present incumbent from post for a period of time. You will be in possession of your full accounting qualifications (ACCA, CA, CIMA or equivalent) and must possess the ability to run a medium-sized finance team ensuring that periodic reporting deadlines are met. The responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include; Running the month end process. Overseeing the production of monthly management accounts. Analysis of accounts and presenting to the SMT. Leadership of a medium sized finance team comprising qualified and non-qualified personnel. Oversee all transactional finance ensuring best practice at all times. Preparation of forecasts for the site and ensuring these are adhered to. Working with budget-holders on budgetary matters, ensuring that decisions are made with finance in mind. Maximising the use of the financial software.
