Overview

The role Responsible for renewing, negotiating, developing and maintaining relationships with the company's key distribution partners Key accountabilities Responsible for renewing, negotiating, developing and maintaining relationships with MLEI's key distribution partners. Manage the day to day relationships both from an external point of view but also by managing internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of plans. Lead the account planning in terms of developing plans for future years and reporting on current performance against plans. Manage all aspects of the relationships to ensure they deliver growth. Understand and promote company propositions to the allocated accounts. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism/discipline through timely and accurate activity reporting, maintenance of the customer relationship management records and documentation of meetings. Skills & experience Experience within the general insurance industry - an advantage but not essential. Demonstrable experience in a previous account management/business development role. Strong sales and negotiating skills, including the ability present underwriting analyse. An understanding of stakeholder management both internal and external. Communication and presentation skills.
