Senior Engineer
Overview
Randstad are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Engineer in Chichester. Project: Large Flood Alleviation Scheme. Responsibilities: Reviewing drawings and specifications well before work starts Raising technical queries to the designers. Maintaining a register of technical queries and responses. Provide technical advice to develop sequence, method and programme Use 3D model to provide material take off information for Site Manager. Use 3D model to transfer setting out data to instruments. Managing site engineers and providing setting out information. Maintaining a drawing register and ensuring the latest drawings are being used. Liaising with ECC Site Supervisor to agree quality checks required and sign off procedures. Producing quality check sheets to control the quality of the work Setting out the works Issuing permits to dig Checking the quality of the work as it progresses Ensuring concrete cubes are made and arrange testing Maintain a register of site sketches Mark up construction drawings with red line as built information. Reporting to the Project Manager and Lead Engineer. Working directly with the Site Manager and Site Foreman. This position has an immediate start available on a 3 year, civils scheme.
