Senior Nurse - Portsmouth £19ph Are you an experienced Nurse looking for a new challenge in a role that offers excellent career development opportunities? If so, read on Amber Mace is currently recruiting for Nurses as well as a senior Nurse to work within a nursing home in Portsmouth. The home provides nursing and residential care for the Elderly, some of whom are living with Dementia. They take a person centred approach to ensure that all the needs and wishes of residents are taken in to count and catered for at all times and they have a real focus on the person rather than their condition - This is a warm, welcoming care home and really is a wonderful place to work Roles available: • Senior RGN Days - £19p/h • RGN Days and nights available - £17.50- £18p/h The Role: • Promote and maintain a high standard of nursing care to people with a variety of care needs • To work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the Commission for Social Care Inspection standards • Provide inspiring leadership to colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality nursing care. • Conform to the latest guidelines, maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures. • Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement • Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice • Accepting personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care within the service The ideal candidate will possess: • At least 1 years` experience in a senior nursing role (for senior nurse position) • Valid Nursing PIN • A passion for care • A desire to progress and develop your own skills If you are interested in this role or would like to find out more, please give Nadia at Amber Mace a call on 01904 571 187.
