Overview

A global, issuer processor, whose platform is enabling many of todays most high-profile fintech innovators and disruptors are looking for a Senior .NET Developer. They are certified by Mastercard and Visa to process and manage any credit, debit or pre-paid card transaction globally and enables the emerging payments industry to deliver breakthrough innovations through a unique combination of proprietary technology, its people and partners. At the heart of its capability is a single global issuer processing platform. Built entirely by its own payment experts it offers easy integration with Issuers, Programme Managers, card manufacturers and many other service providers. The new Senior .NET Developer will help push the code base further forward with both new projects and tweaking existing code to perform better in scrum development teams, and you will get the opportunity to communicate with developers and business teams in various countries. The current aim is to have the Senior .NET Developer to build out their new code in .NETcore running in Docker containers. New code and test environments are supported with infrastructure as code on Amazon Web Services with their existing code base being written predominantly in Microsoft T-SQL with supporting VB.net and C#. The systems and setup are predominantly built on the Microsoft stack, from internal desktop machines to client facing applications and they are seeking to change the way their code is executed with SQL on Linux/Containers and .NET Core running in containers. Skills and Experience 4 years enterprise .NET Experience 3 years enterprise Microsoft T-SQL experience (2008 R2) A solid understanding of Agile processes (Scrum specifically) Confidence in Git and the Git Flow source control methodology It would be ideal if you also had: Bachelors degree or above in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline.
