Test Manager

For more than 200 years, our global Financial Services Client has been helping people around the world connect with what matters most to them. The company is one of the world's leading financial institutions, serving individual consumers, small and middle-market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk management products and services. The role will include the definition, implementation and management of a testing strategy for more than 400 systems, to ensure the successful completion of the renaming of the legal entity. The timescale of the project is aggressive with a Q4 2020 go-live date. The role will involve Defining a Testing strategy that meets the banks standards Utilise tools such as Horizon Jira, to track the testing and produce metrics to track progress Ensure the test evidence meets the quality required to stratify the Bank's standards Working closely with Operations, Front Office, Technology and Enterprise leads to deliver on time, in budget and without drama. You will be working as part of an intentional team, delivering legal entity name changes for a set of legal entities. These entities cover are global distributed and along with the delivery teams, requiring global coordination. The person selected will use existing test tracking tools to monitor the progress and capture evidence in line with bank standards. The role will involve focusing Ops and Tech teams to achieve their goals and identifying/resolving/escalating issues as required. Essential Skills Understanding of standard test management practices Strong quality assurance/control approach to ensure the test data quality meets the stringent bank/audit requirements. Strong business and data analysis skills Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain partner relationships Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written Demonstrable negotiation and influencing skills as required to ensure a teams deliver.
