Overview
Howells are currently looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The successful candidate will play an important part in supporting the accounts team produce Contract Sales and Sundry Sales Invoices in a timely and accurate manner, produce accurate Cash flow forecasts , reporting and improve cash conversion cycles of the business. Main Duties: Post and Allocate Cash Received to Ledgers accurately and in a timely manner Cash flow management and forecasting Drive and improve cash management and conversion Proactively chase all stages of the collection cycle Raise any queries with the commercial team/accounts receivable team/client Inform the Accounts Receivable Supervisor (Forecasting/Credit Control) of any unresolved queries Assist in the raising of sales and contract sales invoices Assist in the allocation of cash receipts Ensure excellent customer service Identify ways to continually improve the efficiency of the Accounts Receivable team and system The successful candidate will be: Proficient in Excel Knowledge of Sales Ledger Process Strong communication skills; Assertive and articulate Professional telephone manner Applications If you feel that you have the relevant experience to be successful in this position and would like to find out more please apply online today attaching a copy of your current CV.
