Overview
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Manager for a successful global manufacturing business in Rotherham. You will be responsible for leading a team of 5 (3 Accounts Receivable Clerks and 2 Accounts Payable Clerk), ensuring effective management of the day-to-day operations, month end reporting, as well as ongoing continuous improvement of processes. This is a varied and autonomous role reporting straight to the Head of Finance. Duties will include:- Responsible for entire order to cash process incorporating AR, credit control and EDI and billing Maintain and review customer credit limits Review the customer deductions, ensure prompt resolution and constantly work to reduce the quantity received Resolve billing issues with customer Responsible for the accurate and timely payment of external creditors and inter-company entities Control of BACS and same day payments Reconciliations and corrective action on AP and AR related balance sheet accounts Ensure compliance with internal controls policy via quarterly self-tests and enforcing standards with the business Continuous development of the systems and processes of the AP and AR functions while ensuring effective controls are in place and are adhered to 100% of the time Maximise cash flow for the company and provide forecasts of future spends/receipts Manage the maintenance of vendor and customer master files and control of new set-ups/amendments Report to senior management any unusual transactions on a timely basis Act as UK AR and AP Oracle champion Leadership and development of accounts staff through objective setting, inspirational leadership and performance management Compile KPI's and use these to drive functional excellence Performance of other financial and administrative ad-hoc tasks as required Liaison with the Commercial and Supply Chain teams to develop relationships and ensure efficiencies and customer service levels The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and experience: Previous experience in managing AR and AP functions Staff management experience Experience in working in a fast paced environment Excellent communication skills, ability to work cross functionally Passion for driving change Strong stakeholder management skills This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly driven individual who is looking for a rewarding career that will offer challenge and progression in a pace paced and innovative environment.
