Overview
A leading firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers based in Liverpool city centre is currently looking to recruit a Tax Semi Senior on a permanent basis. This is varied and interesting role that will focus primarily on personal tax, however there will be opportunities to gain more exposure to Corporation tax. As the Tax Semi Senior, you will provide an professional and tailored service to clients, completing personal tax returns and liaising closely with HMRC. This role is best suited to an experienced Tax professional who is ATT Qualified and either looking to study CTA or be in the process of completing studies. Experience in personal tax from a practice / tax firm is essential. The Tax Semi Senior will be responsible for: Support regional client facing tax teams with review and QA of personal, corporate and VAT tax returns processed by the tax hub team Allocate work to team members using proprietary workflow tool Deliver QA outputs to agreed timescale, quality and volume Deal with internal queries from colleagues and teams Essential Requirements are: ATT Qualified or equivalent QBE Ideally experience from a practice background, however, those with experience from HMRC may considered Demonstrable experience of Corporate and Personal tax work IT skills - strong working knowledge of MS Excel, other MS Office products and similar desktop applications Knowledge of Alphatax and CCH tax software is advantageous Well presented with a professional level of communication - both verbal and written Good time management, organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision If you have all of the above requirements for the Tax Semi Senior position, then please apply now using the link below.
